Merry Christmas!

I know it is SUPER-LATE,
But Merry Christmas anyway!

The picture is supposed to be animated, but it does not appear as it should in Flickr.

Anyhow, I had a wonderful Christmas, lots of gifts, and time with my hobbies!

On to a more sombre mood...
Yesterday was Boxing Day.
It also happens to be the first anniversary of the Asian Tsunami.
There are many reports of people returning to the site (Ground Zero), and mourning for their loved ones...
Many are still trying to rebuilt their lives, after they have lost virtually everything.
Heart-breaking.

T'is the season to be grieving...?

Second attempt: better results...

Fried clay. Ripe already!! Wahahahaha!

The apple on the right is my second attempt, just 1 minute or so in the toaster oven.

I realised that the time spent in the oven depends on the thickness of the clay I am 'baking'.

Wah~~! Expert liao woh~~ Heehee...

First attempt: Failure!

Just 2 minutes in the toaster oven... Haiz~~~

Nevermind, failure is the mother of success. Wahahahaha~~!

Lazy... Plain lazy

That's me. Plain lazy.

It's Xmas around the corner, also spelling the end of the year.
Hence, for being in the workforce for so long,
The huge accumulation of leave is not unheard of.
So, yours truly is now at home, clearing my leave.
It's not like there is really nothing to do in the office, but...
Enough of work. Girl gotta rest. That's it.

Logged on to the internet, to do some banking stuff.
When I get my monthly pay, that's when Dad gets his.
Tot I'd post something here too, this blog has been sorta neglected for some time.

My engine just doesn't feel like starting at all.
I have quite a few jewelry pieces, waiting to be scanned and uploaded,
But I am just too LAZY to do it.
Oh right, blame it on the holidays... Hehehehehe~~!!

Last weekend was spent on trying out my new project,
Polymer clay...
Well, if I wasn't that lazy, you'd see some pics of my work.
Haiz~~, alright.
I hope to get my lazybones out of the way, and get some scans tonight.
That way, you guys can get to see what I have done.

Oh yes, do visit my pictorial blog for my bead projects,

Pluuu-zzzze??!!

Seaside chic necklace

Seaside chic necklace
Originally uploaded by fiona655.

This is what I have been busy with these past 2 weeks.
Of course this is not the only necklace I made, but it is enough to take up most of my time.
I also have the habit of documenting every piece of jewellery I 'churned' out, but with my current IT status, it took a lot more time than usual.

Later I will be visiting an art shop, which is holding demos on clay and punch art. Crafts I like!

IT status for desktop PC: My scanner and printer are connected to my desktop, so when my 5 year old CRT monitor screen turned yellow, I'm kinda flying blind. I couldn't really see the colours of the scans, whether or not they turned out right. The printer now is ok, after I replaced a new cartridge, and clean the printhead an uncountable number of times. Luckily I do all my uploading using my laptop.

P.S. Setting up a Fiona's Buy-A-Desktop Fund, any donations? Wahahahaha~~!!
