Good news!
Good news! I have passed the traffic police basic theory test. Got the results this morning in the letterbox. Can't wait to go for the practical lessons. Went to the Commex exhibition on Saturday, but did not get anything. I want to buy ink cartridges but the offer this year isn't very good, that is, no freebies! Plus, I have to get a black cartridge before I can get a colour one at 40% off! I want only the colour cartridges!!! I know the printer I have is an ink vampire, and I use it to mainly print photos.... *Sigh! Well, whatever upgrading for my PC will have to wait. I am broke!
Went to the Spore Expo yesterday for the SAFE and John Little sale. We did not get the iron we wanted at the SAFE sale, so we thought we check out the John Little sale as well. We went there early, like noon, so the place wasn't very crowded. I bought purfume, which were going cheap, the kind that doesn't last. Yup, I am a fragrance junkie, I just feel naked without purfume when I go out... Then we decided to go to Changi Airport for lunch. Just wanna to take advantage of the $1.39 ice-cream promotion in Swensens'. Besides it was only a station away by MRT. We reached Swensens' at around 2pm, and I ordered fish baked rice, on top of the ice-cream. Yum-yum, anticipation! But my baked rice never came... Even if the table next to ours ordered their food (baked rice also) later than us, they had finished their food, before I asked a waitress what happened to mine. She disappeared into the kitchen and reappeared with somebody else's food, and totally forgot about me! I had to flagged down another waitress, to ask again. This time, (maybe she know I was getting angry) she returned and told me I gotta wait another 3 minutes! She apologised and whizzed off. My food finally came, a good whole hour later, but I was too hungry to find it appetizing. I just grope down the rice, and decide to "flag down" a waiter and choose my ice-cream flavours. Yup! The waiter taking our orders did not ask what flavours I want for my topless five! I dun care, you have make me pissed, so I cannot "chin chai" anymore. I told the waiter that they make me wait for almost an hour for my baked rice, I think I deserve to choose my ice-cream flavours!@#%&*^! The ice-cream took another 15 minutes to come, but five full scoops of icy things has just what it takes to cool us down. Lucky for them! Anyway, we left Swensens' two and a half hours later, for a simple baked rice and 5 scoops of ice-cream! Sheesh!
Ace-d my basic theory test today, haha! Feeling very happy right now... However, gotta wait 2 weeks for the results, juz to make sure. Looking forward to starting my practical lessons soon...
Basic Theory
Last Friday was enjoyable! Had steamboat buffet dinner wif friends at Suntec... Shiok! Heehee!! A special thanks to Yvonne for her beautiful sunflower... I even got a marriage proposal because of it!! *Wink* *Wink* Went for my driving basic theory lessons today. The instructors are hilarious! Tell me, what is the hand signal if you wanna to do a U-turn?? Hahaha!! Green light means danger, and red light means safe... Actually what the instructor means is that it is dangerous when you are driving (green light), and safer when you stopped (red). I am really looking forward to taking the evaluation and test. Feels funny to be in a classroom again, but the feeling is good... Maybe I missed my school days... They are so carefree, well, those are the happy days!
