Last days of the year

Finally, long periods of slogging away at work gave way to block days of leave.
Haha! Alas, days of leave are spent at home, away from the rain…
Rain, rain, go away,
Little Fiona want to play!

Haiz… The rains do more than make me stay indoors,
It cause massive flooding in some places, forcing traffic to a standstill…
How to go out?

Anyhow, clear days after Christmas…
Goody, now I can go for some much needed shopping…
It was crowded everywhere.
What?!? You think only Fiona is on leave, izzit??

I went to Ikea Tampines yesterday.
Wow! The place was huge!
The layout is similar to that of Alexander’s.
But they have stations of fun for the kids shattered through out the store.
Cute!
But I didn’t get to enjoy much…
The restaurant was crowded, and long queues at the checkouts.
But I did manage to get my favourite Swedish biscuits.
Yeah, greedy me…

No more work till the 3rd…

Merry Christmas to all

Merry, merry Christmas!! I had been working so hard for the past month, and finally, the holiday season is here...

So after a frantic search to get (or make) perfect presents for my friends, I think it is time to slow things down and enjoy the rest of the year.
